Finntürker A.Ş. was established as a 100% Finnish company by Kauko Markkinat Oy in 1948 under the name of "Finn - Türk A.O.". Company aim was to sell and trade mainly chemical forestry products, such pulp, paper and cardboard and mechanical forestry products, such as logs, timber, plywood, and wooden poles.
Business continued for 3 decades. In 1970's, the growing far-east markets captured the attention of Kauko Markkinat Oy. Opening of Singapore office, resulted the ownership change of Finn-Turk A.O. and Mr. Aydin Arican acquired the company.

For the next 2 decades, Mr. Aydin Arican led the company succesfully. His success to increase the business volume between the two countries was recognized by the State of Finland, and decorated with Medal in 1998.
Mr. Harri Uusivirta and Emre Arican took over the company in 2009, where as Mr. Aydin Arican still continues to guide the company as the honorary chairman.
